Fujoshi means authors and fans who love works of BL, Yaoi or Shota. Fujoshi sometimes shortened to Fu, is active mainly in genre of Yaoi and BL. Though Otaku that is mainly used for male was named by general other people, Fujoshi is used by themself in self-deprecation. Otome road in Ikebukuro in which shops for Fujoshi are jumbled up close together is a sacred place for Fujoshi.

Fujoshi grows to Kifujin, Ochofujin and Fuenix(phoenix) with the years. Fu means rotten things. Kifujin means originally noblewoman, but it is changed into Fujoshi version. And male who love Yaoi is called Fukei. Fukei means originally parent or guradian, but it is changed into Fu version.
